PBS Newshour features Portland Buy Local

On the October 10th episode of the PBS Newshour, Portland Buy Local’s Executive Director discussed the need for COVID relief programs to ensure that scores of local businesses don’t close as the colder months arrive.

“It is a choice that politicians are making to not create new policies. And in doing so, they are allowing local businesses to fail.”

The story also features Damian Sansonneti (co-owner of Chaval), Lauren Wayne from State Theatre, Portland, Maine, and Councilor Justin Costa.
