August is Shift your Entertainment month!

After a successful and exciting month of celebrating Portland’s Independents, we return to our monthly shift campaign! For the past year we’ve been talking about ‘shifting your spending’ and have highlighted everyone from banks to spas to graphic designers. These are the businesses and organizations that make Portland such a great city to live in and we hope that so far in 2013, you found a new place in our community to purchase your goods or services.

Here we are in August: the month when we encourage you to Shift Your Lodging, Art & Culture, and Entertainment!
Check out the Portland Buy Local members who fit into this category – they include bowling alleys, cryptozoologists, a cozy inn, amazing music venues, and more. We’re thrilled to show off this crew – after all, Portland has always been recognized for its lively arts and culture! How might you make some changes this month? Whether you’re entertaining visitors from away or planning a day out with friends, we’ve got the quirky museums, concert halls, and outdoor activities to keep you entertained!
