    Menopause at Work
Supporting Women in Peri and Post Menopause in the workplace

Join us for a candid conversation on building workplaces that work for women in midlife.

Every day, roughly 6,000 American women enter menopause, defined as one year without a menstrual cycle. However, reports show that most of these women don’t feel supported through this transition at work. It’s estimated that 75% of women will experience peri and post menopause symptoms that may impact their work life. These symptoms can start as early as 35 years old and last well past 50, including hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disturbance, anxiety, fatigue, and brain fog.

This panel dives into the unique challenges and opportunities menopause presents for small businesses and sole proprietors. We’ll explore how hormonal changes affect productivity, communication, and wellbeing, why flexible scheduling and open dialogue can improve retention and morale, and what practices can be implemented whether you’re the employer, the employee, a sole proprietor, or part of a team.

Enjoy tea and snacks blended specifically to support midlife women's health at Botanically Curious.  Enter the raffle to win a basket of  goodies curated by Botanically Curious and sponsored by Portland Downtown.
