Special Curator Tour of Holding Up the Sky

Join Tilly Laskey, MHS Outreach Curator and curator of HOLDING UP THE SKY: WABANAKI PEOPLE, CULTURE, HISTORY & ART for a specially guided tour of this major exhibition. HOLDING UP THE SKY explores Wabanaki philosophies of leadership and obligation relating to humans and non-humans by highlighting 13,000 years of Wabanaki residence in what is now known as Maine.

This is a unique opportunity to engage in this important and compelling exhibition with the curator herself in a small group setting. We have created a series of 1-hour, monthly tour dates on Wednesdays from June 2019 to January 2020. Tours are tailored for up to 15 guests for a high quality and intimate experience.

When: Wednesday, June 23rd at 12pm

Where: Maine Historical Society (489 Congress Street)
