Happy Holidays from Portland Buy Local!

This holiday season, make the decision to buy locally! There are so many reasons to shop locally (here are our top 10), but the main one is this: shopping locally keeps more money in our local economy. For every $100 dollars spent at a local business, $45 stays in the local economy, creating jobs and expanding the tax base. (Compare that to the $14 per $100 that stays in our economy when you shop at a chain store!)
We’re lucky in Portland: buying locally is convenient and enjoyable! We have an incredible variety of shopping experiences and you don’t need to wake up at 3am to stand in line for them! So, from Bayside to Brighton, and from downtown to Deering, there are literally hundreds of options here in Portland to satisfy your local shopping needs. Happy shopping!
