A Guide to Portland’s Plaid Friday (and more)!

Our members have amazing events and specials in store for you on Friday November 28th and beyond. Many are opening their doors early and closing late. They have special promotions and are teaming up with other local talent to make the day musical, fun and so much more personal than Black Friday ever was.

So take back the black and wear your raddest plaid in support of your local vendor and service provider!

Here is our member scoop on where it’s at on PLAID FRIDAY:

  • Portland’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place from 5:30-6:30pm in Monument Square. Come see the spectacular lighting and be a part of this annual, Portland tradition! Entertainment begins with Rick Charette and the Bubblegum Band.

  • Portmanteau, 3 Wharf Street, 10am-8pm.  As part of Portland’s Downtown District’s “Shop for a Cause” Day to benefit Day One we are launching the “100 Social Change Purse Challenge.”  We have made 100 change purses and the entire $5 price for each one will go to support Day one’s efforts to prevent and treat youth addictions.
