Meet Buy Local’s New Administrative Ambassador

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Portland Buy Local team: Emily Wiederkehr Rothschild!

Emily has joined Buy Local, on a part-time, contract basis, as our first-ever Administrative Ambassador, and we are excited to have her on board.

Emily will be working closely with the board and committees to help us better serve our members and streamline our work. Members will have the opportunity to meet Emily at our upcoming Annual Meeting on Wednesday, February 8th.

If you’re unable to make the meeting, you’ll also have a chance to meet her in your own workplace. Emily is endeavoring to stop by and meet all of our members this spring. She’s excited to learn about the many local businesses, individuals, and organizations that are part of Portland Buy Local. She’s also looking forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas on how we can fulfill our mission in the coming year.

Emily is very passionate about Portland and brings to the Administrative Ambassador position extensive experience working in the Portland non-profit community, including Greater Portland Landmarks and Maine Historical Society.
