When we started in 1994, all we had was passion—and the seeds of a great idea. We wanted to roast and brew premium coffees, and grow a truly local business that gave back to our city (and our world) in honest, sustainable ways.

Today this commitment is even stronger. From sponsorship of arts and social change events to the creation of our Rebel Blend Arts Fund, CBD gives back every day to our local community.

Plus, we roam the planet, building honest, equitable relationships with coffee farmers. We select only the world’s best beans with 100% traceability and gently hand-roast them in small batches at our micro roastery. You can feel good that the coffee you buy is doing good globally.
