May 25: Mixer at Apothecary By Design
If you are not yet using an independent pharmacy, now may be the time to switch. According to a new Consumer Reports survey, independent pharmacies provide better service, make fewer errors, are more likely to have medications in stock, and fill prescriptions faster than their chain competitors.
Portland is home to one independent pharmacy: Apothecary by Design, which will be hosting a Buy Local Mixer on Wednesday, May 25th.
This is a great opportunity to check out this unique business, while enjoying refreshments and mingling with other Buy Local enthusiasts. We hope to see you there!
When: Wednesday, May 25, 2011
Where: Apothecary by Design, 84 Marginal Way (map)
Time: 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
About our host: Apothecary by Design offers expert pharmacy care & nutritional support. Specific services include retail pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, specialty pharmacy services & coffee shop. We also offer a full line of high quality vitamins, supplements & more.

All of our 2010/2011 mixers are sponsored by Sebago Brewing Company, with four brewpubs in Southern Maine and high quality, craft beers that tempt and arouse the palates of New England’s beer lovers. Sebago Brewing Company uses all American malt, hops and crisp water from Sebago Lake and is a proud sustaining member of Portland Buy Local.
